RAMONA CLUB – Basement Wax x City Fly with Ben Boe

We have a very special extended addition of Basement Wax in October, bringing some of the finest selectors and good friends to Manchester.

First up we have “Ben Boe”. Ben’s imprints (Boe Recordings & For Those That Know) have left a modest but credible mark on the underground house community over the last 15+ years, having delved deep across the electronic spectrum to search for individual sonic trademarks and push lesser known artists to the fore.

Co-founder of City Fly Records: “Jonna”, makes his Basement Wax debut. Jonna’s DJ sets are prominently House with influences from Disco, Hip Hop Funk and Jazz. A driving force with City Fly which was a prolific deep house label, party and radio show from 2003-2018. His productions have graced some of the finest imprints of the last 10 years with releases on Shadeleaf, BBE and Lumberjacks in Hell.

Record collector and music enthusiast – Peter Glasspool is well known in the London music scene over the last 20 years having played regularly at musical institutes Fabric and The Lion & Lamb. Renowned for being an obsessive digger, unearthing rare records and impeccable mixing. Peter always brings the vibe.

Birmingham born DJ and Producer: S-ampel, now resounding in Manchester is a well respected DJ having played at some of the best UK parties over the last twenty years including Below, Discotech and Trmnl.

His productions have featured on One Records, Act Natural and Decay Records)

As always our Basement Wax residents Shez & Craven will be driving the sound through until the end with their deep collection of Records.
